Music Ministry
Music is a Part of Our Parish Life
Our Music Ministry seeks to uplift prayer, illuminate the word of God, and help all to encounter the Lord more deeply through sacred music.
All our liturgical celebrations are enriched with music that encourages joyful participation in sung prayer. We unite our voices as one community of faith, praising God with hymns rich with tradition as well as inspirational new compositions. Serving as a true community ministry, our parish's music strives to welcome the stranger, comfort the hurting, uplift the spirit, and open our hearts to the presence of God.

The Ss Peter & Paul Choir
The heart of our Music Ministry, the SPP Choir consists of college and adult singers of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences who sing at the Sunday 10AM Mass. Their singing together brings about a spirit of community and creativity while serving the Parish in song. Rehearsals are conveniently held on Sunday mornings before Mass at 9:30 AM, as well as after Mass until 11:30 AM; preparations for Christmas Eve, Holy Week, and Easter Sunday and Concerts are scheduled separately. No experience or audition necessary; come as you are and join this welcoming community of Hoboken singers.

Children's Choir
Grade School students sing at the monthly 10AM Family Mass, held on the first Sunday of each month from October- May. The Children's Choir sings both familiar Catholic classics and hymns dedicated to young people in a joy-filled environment. Parents and Guardians are also welcome to sing beside their child, all while being led by our Youth Cantors and Children's Music Ministry. To participate, simply come on up before Mass and make a joyful noise!

Volunteer Instrumentalists
Woodwind, String, Brass, and other instruments enhance the 10:00 AM and 12 Noon Masses. All instrumentalists must be proficient in reading music, maintaining good pitch, and be comfortable performing solo or in an ensemble.
Join any of our ensembles at any point throughout the year!
